As the first anniversary of Melany's passing (January 30, 2025) approaches, I wanted to add a few thoughts.  My first thought is to express surprise that so many people were affected--some profoundly-by knowing Melany.  Because I interacted with her daily for so many years, I was aware of how I was affected by her positive attitude, her joyful approach to life, her warmth and kindness.  I did not realize she had the same effect on so many others.

Melany was always adventurous and a joy to be around.  I certainly wasn't as "woowoo" as my perception of her, but I often envied her commitment  to her reality regardless of what anyone else thought.

It causes me to think of Melany when I see various objects:  a piece of clothing she would have loved, kombucha for sale in a grocery store, cryptocurrency, or entreprenurial opportunities.  As a business major myself, her  business knowledge  often was quite surprising to me.

Her beloved son, Mackenze, was always foremost in her mind.  His challenges were her challenges and she worked diligently to support him in every endeavor.  She loved her sister Paula (my wife) unconditionally.

RIP Melany

I met Melany at her work place in Palo Alto around 1972, we spent a to short a time together she was so sweet and kind, she was unforgettable as you can tell. My condolences to the family for your loss. Though I didn’t know her for a long time I was sorry  when she decided to move to Florida. A Song we both enjoyed back then was YES’s  “I’ve Seen All Good People”, whenever I hear it I think of Sweet Melany.

Dearest Mackenzie and family,

Your mother was my dearest sister in Panama. You both were and are family.

I am sad to hear her beautiful wild women self has left our planet but deeply grateful that she has ascended to be with the spiritual worlds which she opened for every soul she touched.

Truly a gift in my life and to this world. You are such a lucky son to have her as your mother.

Thank you for sharing your lovely feelings and thoughts about her with all of us.

Please stay close. Your MaMaGolda is her and living in Miami Beach😘

My love and light are with you and her. I see her delighted and free to dance a create her true angelic beauty.

I am sure she is enlightened because she became a true light in the world that now shines back to us all, now and forever 🙏🏼

Many Blessings to your whole family💜

My sincere condolences to Mackenze and family. It's my regret to miss the zoom and send my love and best wishes in remembrance of Melany. Love Anthony, Carmela, Kitana and Neo

Going through our text thread and while transferring to a new phone I missed several messages. I see now I did not receive or respond to this sent on 11/10/24.

I needed this message today as we all plan to gather tomorrow to celebrate life✨

Gay, Melanie, will be missed by so many, she was one of a kind. She had a huge heart and I will always remember her sweet smile, or laughing with someone.....So sorry for our loss.  And for her precious family your loss...waiting for Jesus to come for all of us to be reunited for eternity!!! Even so come Lord Jesus!
Melany was such a bright light. She will be deeply missed. I am so grateful that she came into my life this last year.  She supported me in so many ways! Physically, with her care and amazing ability to beautify spaces. Emotionally, drawing a bath for me when I was drained. And also spiritually, being a beacon of light for the evolution of humans into Homo luminous. She is with the angels, no doubt! And now they are blessed as we were. 🕊️Mackenze, thank you for sharing your mother with us. She lives on in you. Sending you so much love.~farrah 🌷
