Mel's obituary

He was a raconteur who never met a pun he didn't like. Holden is survived by his beloved wife of 62 glorious years, Zita; devoted son Barry (Nina Yankowitz) Holden and daughters Jill (Ray Richmond) Holden and Cheryl (Ric) Lange; his doting grandchildren Sara Holden, Rachel Lange, Ian Holden and Joey (Kate Hall) Lange; loving brother Stan (Barbara) Holden and the late Geri Natkin and Lucille Yellen. He was a special uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Service Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, 1:30 p.m. in the chapel at Westlawn Cemetery and Mausoleum, 7801 W. Montrose, Norridge.
