With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of Dr. Mehrdad Khanmohammadi, beloved husband, father, mentor, and environmentalist, who left us after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Zanjan, Iran, Mehrdad devoted his life to science, nature, and the people around him. He earned his PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Queensland in Australia, and went on to serve as a Lecturer and later Assistant Professor at University of Guilan, where …
