My heart is with you during this trying time. I love y'all.
Our deepest condolences to the family so heartbreaking 🙏😔
So sorry for your unimaginable loss!  Let us know how we can support you.
Joe and Vanessa:  The tragedy and loss you've experienced is unimaginable.  All my love and prayers for your family.  I'll hug my girls extra tight the next time I see them.
It was September 18, 2009. Me…

It was September 18, 2009. Megan and her sister were all set to be the flower girls in our wedding -- which was a bit like one of our many epic GC block parties except the girls were in dresses. Megan, age 3 (I think), was having fun and playing for a while, but then about 10 minutes before the ceremony, had one of those very common toddler meltdowns. Joe scooted her home and Lindsey was a solo flower girl that day. From the word "go", Megan knew what and where she wanted to be. And that day, she decided being a flower girl simply was not her thing! LOVE that memory!
Early on when we moved into the GC neighborhood, Megan walked up to us in the alleyway in between her house and ours with a plastic cup on her foot and pretended to be a wooden-legged pirate. She was about 2 years old and the funniest, most adorable kiddo!

Vanessa and family,

I taught in DPS for 30 years, 25 at Force where I worked with Vanessa. My heart is broken, there are no words to say  for the loss of a wonderful daughter, especially the way her life ended. Hold onto the great memories you had with Megan and hold them close to your heart.

May God bless you and your family!

Never got to know Megan personally, but I grew up with her Grandma and she told me a lot about Megan. I always felt Megan was a special and unique gal. My heart broke to learn of her passing. I pray every day for strength and comfort for the family.

Vanessa, Joe and Lindsey,

Our hearts are broken for you but pray you will hold tight to sweet, happy memories you have shared. As you push forward may the Lord strengthen and comfort you and know your family near and far love you.
