Sorry for your loss. Dom will surely be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know him. Dom was always available for guidance in my days in the SMP headquarters. A very humble man Dom will be missed.

Uncle Med was one of my mom's younger brothers. Most everyone he encountered could quickly learn that he was a genuinely kind person and dedicated family man. We have never lived in the same state, yet he was always there for important milestones and other events. For example, my wedding, which was almost 3000 miles away. And meeting each of my daughters at their baptisms. And attending birthday parties. And laughing and playing with my kids throughout the years and loving them so much like a grandpa that they called him Lolo Med. 

I actually did not tell my daughters about Uncle Med’s passing right away. For me, not talking about it would make it seem not true, not real. As I was sitting at the computer, my 7 year old glanced at an email and also this website that was open and easily figured it out. She looked at me with tears forming in her eyes and in a shaky voice asked "Lolo Med? What happened?” and then she threw her arms around me.

It is difficult for all of us to imagine family get-togethers and parties without his laughing or dancing or singing or chopping up the lechon or drawing straight lines without a ruler.

I will cherish the wonderful memories and photos to keep him in my life and in the lives of my family forever. Uncle Med you are so loved and will be dearly missed.

Rest in peace Uncle Med...
