With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our sweet McKelle, who left us too soon at the
age of 22. McKelle had the biggest heart and made everyone she came in contact with feel
loved and safe; what a precious gift to us all. McKelle will be remembered for her charming
personality, mischievousness, and contagious laughter. If her jokes hadn’t already made you
laugh, her silly pranks and antics would. Whether McKelle was watching the movie Frozen,
socializing with her friends, packing her suitcase for her next trip to Disneyland, or playing hide
and seek, she did it with a passion and love for life. McKelle found joy in picking flowers, playing
with lizards, Easter egg hunts, dance parties, and Facetiming anyone who would answer her
first.
Although she was only expected to live until the age of 13, she was able to fight through
countless surgeries and procedures; we are so thankful for the additional years we had with
her. Despite her physical limitations, McKelle did not let her disability deter her from her
favorite activities.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all the nurses, doctors, caretakers, teachers, and
friends who have nurtured and loved her throughout the years.
McKelle is survived by her parents, Amber Evans Bodon, Mike Bodon, Troy Baldwin, her three
sisters Madison, Rachel, and Libby, and three brothers Carson, Eli, and Tanner, and many
heartbroken friends and extended family members.
There will be a celebration of McKelle’s Life on Wednesday, May 26, with visitation from 9-10
a.m. followed by a funeral service from 10-11 a.m. If you are unable to attend the funeral, an
open house will be held on Tuesday, May 25, from 7-9 p.m. Both events will take place at 2030
W. Chapel Ridge Road, Lehi, UT 84043.
