May Goolsby, 88, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on November 4, 2024, surrounded by her friends and family.

May, born on February 18,1936 to Betty M Johnson And Juan Jonson in Troy Alabama immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. May went on to graduate from  Dr. Percy L. Julian High School   in Montgomery, Alabama  as an honor student. After graduating from high school, May went on to pursue a degree in nursing  while in school May fell in love with David goolsby  and the two were inseparable from that point on. May and David were married for over 45 years and had two children  David jr Goolsby and Denise E Goolsby May was a fiercely dedicated mom to her children, They went on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else God May, she instilled that in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

May was predeceased by list of family members who have passed away. She is survived by list of family members who are still alive.
