Maxine Violet Rapp (Wiseman) a caring and fiercely devoted mother and animal lover passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 92.   Born in 1930, Maxine led a fulfilling and impactful life as a Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery at Eau Claire, Menomonie, and Stoughton Hospitals in Wisconsin for over 30 years.  She took pride in her profession, providing care and comfort to countless individuals throughout her career.

Away from her professional life, Maxine had a passion for a healthy lifestyle, gardening, composting, taking care of her yard, baking pies, reading, and enjoying her daily grapefruit and walks.  She was dedicated to her family, always ensuring they were well cared for and loved.  As a strong, influential woman with wisdom and advice for her loved ones, she regularly shared incredible stories of her own life showcasing resilience, drive, and how to overcome life's obstacles.  She will always be known for her other enjoyable pastime of solving crossword and sudoku puzzles. Her unique blend of hobbies showcased her giving nature, as well as her intelligence and commitment to the community and environment.

Maxine’s children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren cherish their memories of her and the legacy she leaves behind. Her love and dedication to her family will continue to live on through each of us.
