Dan and girls, I so very you lost your beautiful wife and mom. She was proud of all of you, and know she is already with the Lord.
I was so sorry to hear about Maxine's passing. She was such a [ adjective ] and [ adjective ] person.

I wrote this the day she came home to be in at-home hospice...

Starting the journey, seems like you'll never get where you're going

Don't go too fast or you'll miss the sites along the way

You only get to take this trip once and only with the clothes you have on your back, but you love those clothes, so it's ok

Sometimes there are storms, and high places to climb over and holes to climb out of.

But that's the road...take the high road, always

Don't regret taking the turns you take... eventually you'll get back on the right road leading you where you need to go

The scenery is beautiful, sometimes painful but it's part of the drive. And it's ok to let go of the wheel. There's someone else steering the car anyway

You never know when down the road might come, but those you've met along the way will be there to greet you. And some will see you later. But never goodbye forever

To my Mim

From,

Your Milly

You are, were and always will be the very best momma in the world!  Happy Mims Day and I know you can still hear my voice, but I would give anything to hear yours again!  I love you more today than I did yesterday, and I will love you even more tomorrow!

I'll see ya down the road xoxoxoxox

Today has been one month...almost to the minute God welcomed you home...we were in Florida this week and there were so many times I wanted to call you and share the neat things we saw, like the school of manta rays that swam right by our feet!  And seeing the sunsets that you loved so much!  There's so much of you here that I swear it doesn't feel like you're gone.  I love you, my sweet Mimmy and hope you're getting the hang of having wings xxoxox. I'll see ya down the road...I love you forever and ever

Beautiful photos.  Prayers to everyone.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I will never forget your family coming into Maces to shop. It was always so nice to see everyone. Praying for your family.
