To a beautiful lady and fellow Art collection our brief history meeting ,was great.

MY MOM  ALWAYS ASKED ME TO SEND THIS POEM AS PART OF THE DIFFERENT GOING AWAY SERVICES OF FRIENDS AND FAMILIES.  AND IN HEARING THE SERMON FROM THE PASTOR HE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT MAKING A DEPOSIT IN THE BANK AND GOD BROUGHT THIS POEM TO MIND.   MAY GOD BLESS THE  WORDS  AND MEANING.

A POEM NAMED— BANK ACCOUNT

A 92-year-old, well-poised and proud woman, who is fully

dressed each morning by Eight o’clock, with her hair

fashionably combed and perfect, even though she is legally blind;

moved to a nursing home today.

Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move

necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of

the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready.

As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet curtains that had been hung on her window. I love it, “she stated with the enthusiasm of an Eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.

“Mrs. Jones, you haven’t seen the room—just wait.” That doesn’t have anything to do with it,” Mrs. Jones replied. “Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn’t depend on how the furniture is arranged….it’s how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it. It’s a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.

Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I’ll focus on the new day, and all the happy memories I’ve stored away…just for this time in my life. Old age is like a “Bank Account.” You withdraw from what you’ve put in.”

“So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the ‘Bank Account of Memories!’ ”

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred

2. Free your mind from worries.

3. Live simply.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less.

God blessed Miss Maxine to be a talented, smart, creative, warm, happy, kind, great at cooking, baking, and feeding people. She was outgoing, pleasant a classy soul, and many other attributes that I only knew about from her daughter, describing to me by the work she did and her accomplishments in life. She was sharing and caring. May God grant her Paradise forgive her sins and have great mercy on her soul.

God created Miss Maxine to be a blessed soul. But like The Lord has brought Miss Maxine’s soul back to Himself, we must all come by the same way and we pray we will see her again one day. I will miss sending her the E-Cards for her Birthday and other occasions. I’m very sad that you are not here, but God knows best. Because “ From God we come to Him we must return.”

May God Rest Her Soul in Peace and May Her Memory Be A Blessing.”

I am very sad. May God hold-up and strengthen all the family members and help them through this time and my God make each day a little easier to bear.

Love ❤️ for Miss Maxine and her family.

With our deepest  sympathy , and broken hearts we will miss you Maxine . Love June and Ian.

My deepest condolences to you and your family for the loss of your mother.

I was so saddened to hear of Maxine’s passing. She was truly an amazing woman, smart, warm, witty. She loved her children and grandchildren. I have many fond memories of Maxine. We met through Terry Kemp. Terry, Doreen Martinez, Maxine, and I would have lunch together every day when we all worked at Verizon. We continued our friendship outside work and long after we left Verizon. She was a true friend and a beautiful human being. I was so lucky our paths crossed and honored to call her my friend.

Her presence will be missed by the family she loved dearly and by all who knew her. Rest in peace, Maxine.

May her memory be a blessing.
