Mr. Max "Schmelling" Benson was born on February 20,1939 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Issac and Lucy Benson of Hopkins, South Carolina. He departed this life to be with the Lord on Monday August 1, 2022.
Max was a graduate of Hopkins High School, Class of 1957. After graduating, he went right into the workforce. He went on to work at Jim Moore Cadillac then on to Jim Hudson Automotive, where he devoted 37 …
