Background
My husband served 23 years in the United States Air Force. He had 2 tours in the Middle East ( Desert Storm/ Desert Shield. Although, he served his country proudly, he did not leave unscathed. He suffered with PTSD for years, and he did seek help. My husband was an advocate for Veterans, especially homeless Vets. He would often go to the homeless shelters to talk with them, and bless them monetarily. He noticed a homeless veteran sitting outside of a gas station one day. The man's shoes were torn and tattered. He had stuffed paper in the Soles of his shoes. Maurice took the shoes off of his feet and gave them to the man.
Maurice's father, Poppa was also a Vietnam Veteran that suffered with PTSD, as well. "Helping Vets is my life's calling". He woul always say. Donations could really help alot of Veterans suffering from PTSD, especially homeless Vets. Whether it is getting them help with how to deal with PTSD, feeding, housing, and/or clothing them. These brave men and women that fought for this country should be celebrated, and protected as they have protected us, not discarded. Contribute to PTSD Foundation of America

2. Raise awareness of the increasing needs of the military community through public events, media outlets, social media, service organizations, and churches.
3. Networking government agencies, service organizations, churches and private sector businesses into a united “Corps of Compassion”, to bring their combined resources together to meet the needs of the military community on a personal and individual/family level.
Our brave men and women in uniform understand duty, honor, and sacrifice. Many have returned home with both the visible scars, and the unseen wounds of war.
