On June 19, 2024 Maurice H. Garand passed away peacefully at his home in Amesbury MA, surrounded by his family. He was 94 years old.
Maurice was born to Jeremie and Anna (Levesque) Garand on August 22, 1929, in Newburyport MA. After graduating from Newburyport Trade (High) School, he worked as a carpenter, a grocery clerk, and on a factory assembly line before entering the US Army, where he served for two years. Within three …
