Never thought I would have ever seen proud Papi Chase cry.  One winter we traveled to Georgia for Christmas.  My children met him for the first time.  Their Christmas gift to him was a teddy bear rocking and singing "My Guy!"  The lyrics were changed from My Girl to My Guy, get it?  Anyway, Papi Chase really liked the gift from them.   Tears came to his eyes.  When I asked him if he's crying, he turned his back wiped his eyes, turned back around, smiled at three (3) enthusiastic lil children and said, "Thank you!"  I have lots of stories but wanted to share this one because they always wanted to meet him, and I wanted him to meet them too.  That winter his heart melted.  Rest in Peace Papi Chase.

My deepest condolences to the Chase family during their time of bereavement. Matthew 5:4  "Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted."  God bless, Allison.
Pappy Chase you came into my life when I was age 5-12.  You were a doting stepfather who wanted the best for us.  You bought the best and got us the first of everything that hit the market.  I remember Chase Plumbing, Piping, and Construction business you started and how I always wanted to tag along and help install windows, doors, and unclog septics.  You kept a watchful eye and would always tell me I'm a girl and not a boy.  The more you dressed me us in pretty dressy with ribbons, bows, silk, and satin, the more I wanted to climb trees.  You provided for us and kept us safe.   You encouraged us to do math, study, do our homework, and make something of ourselves. I will always remember the fatherly father you were to me and my siblings.  No one is perfect.  You did the best you could at the time.  I've thanked you many times in the land of the living, and now I'm thanking you again.  I appreciate you and the impact you've had in my life.  May you rest from your years of trials and tribulations.  May the Angels surround you in heaven.  May Father God shine his perpetual light upon your soul and grant you eternal rest.  Love, your step-daughter Lil Allison who's all grown up.
