Over several years, I had the honor of being one of Maureen's physicians. She was a sweet, gentle lady who loved Irish jokes.

Maureen's unending spirit and fortitude were a true inspiration! "Tough Old Bird" only begins to describe her perseverance in and resolution for life. The number and magnitude of hardships she faced and overcame throughout her life, and the grace with which she did so, are humbling and inspiring.  Her tenacity was amazing, yet her smile could melt your heart.  And Mimi's laugh was warm and infectious. What an amazing woman. What an amazing and inspirational life.
