Maureen (Moe)'s obituary
Moe was born on July 10, 1980 in Springfield, MA. She was a very large baby. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1998 and attended Suffolk University, where she played NCAA basketball. It was also at Suffolk where she met her best friends for life: Julie Kubera, Jen Buzi, Kate Sutton, and Sadie Fine.
Moe’s educational foundation was in psychology, earning her BS at Suffolk and her MS at Sacred Heart University. She graduated with highest honors, but seldom studied.
Moe loved everything Pacific Northwest, including cycling, climbing, hiking, kayaking, marathoning, and snowboarding; to name just a few of her many endeavors. The New York Football Giants were her favorite sports team and she saw them play all around the country, wasting all sorts of money.
Moe did not volunteer a day in her life, but was always willing to help a friend in need.
Moe’s nephews, Jonah and Gavin, were the loves of her life, and she of theirs. Moe spent her adult life working in civil service and absolutely loved her job and the people she worked with.
Anyone who knew Moe, and let’s just say that was a lot of people (wink), knew that she was hilarious, passionate about life, and truly authentic. Her family and friends miss her more than words can convey now and always.
