Ironically, I woke up today thinking about Maureen and our growing up together, not to mention our many hours of conversations over everything and nothing.  Didn’t tie the date together with my thinking of her. We were more likely sisters than aunt and niece. 💐💕 Sure do miss her. 💕💐

Our sincere condolences on the loss of your loved one. Maureen was a valuable member of our lunch table at the Senior Center in East Providence, RI. She always had wonderful stories to tell and experiences to recount, including visits with her cherished family. She was a great conversationalist, with interesting and intelligent views and opinions. We feel fortunate to have gotten to know her and call her a friend. We will never forget spending the day with her in New York at the 9/11 Memorial. She will be greatly missed—especially when we have mashed potatoes and won’t be able to give her ours (oh, how she loved mashed potatoes!). Odette and Gerry Griffin, Rumford, RI
I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with each of you. I didn't know Maureen, by reading this she sounds like she lived a full and adventurous life. A beautiful life to look up to. Carla and Steve my thoughts are with you during this hard time. Hugs

One of my favorite memories is the cruise to Alaska your Mom and I did in 2009 . Had a great time and stopped on the way back in Washington State to visit family. Your Mom booked the short flight for the two of us from Seattle , Washington - Portland ,Oregon! When I saw the size of the plane we were flying on which required us to walk across the tarmac and climb stairs up into the Plane I remember “glaring at Maureen and saying “you have got to be kidding! “ We laughed about it and did say a few prayers until we landed safe and sound. My heartfelt sympathy to you! Love , Judy
Dearest Carla,
We are so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. 🙏Gurdeep and Bonnie
Paula, Carla, and families, my sincere condolences to you all. Maureen will be greatly missed. We’d spend hours on the phone talking and laughing (only the way she could make me laugh) about growing up together through our senior years. (I may have been her niece but felt more like we were sisters.) Of course, we always end our calls when”Jeopardy” came on. She talked to me frequently late at night (eastern time) when I was caring for my mom. I really will miss her a lot, as I know you will. Love to you all from Barbara, Roy, Tricia, Tina, and their families.
