My Wife Lu Ann, who also passed away of Alsheimers on January 16, 2022 were very good friends. We were in Marraige encounter about 1970. Duane and I worked at Rohr.

Whoever wrote Maureen's obituary did a wonderful job in capturing her love of life and love of people.   In reading it, I remembered incidents when Terry and I were out with Duayne and Maureen and could see the love she had for Duayne, her children, and her grandchildren.   She enjoyed her grandchildren visiting her and talked about how much she enjoyed watching their sports activities at school.   She truly reminded us of how kind, loving and adventurous Californians were in the Sixties--she loved life and always saw the good in people.  We feel blessed that we met her.  She truly made the world a better, brighter place to live.    She will be missed by all who knew her.

She always had just the best smile, even as she managed Alzheimer's. She loved sitting under the bright blue sky with a breeze, talking about long walks, chocolate, family and books. I loved hearing about her work as a forensic toxicologist and her pride as a mom. To know her was such a gift and honor to me.
