Personal note from The Jones Family

Thank you for joining us as we celebrate the extraordinary life of Maude Jones.

When you think of Maude, remember the Jazzy Lady who traveled from town to town in her powder blue caddy. Remember how she dressed to the nines in vibrant attire, complete with a hat and matching shoes whenever she went to a show, party or family event. Also, remember how much she supported her family and local community.

Remember how she delivered snacks and gifts to her grand and great-grandchildren's homes, no matter the weather. Even in the torrential rain, she arrived with an array of goodies, from kites and flags to figs and Eagles apparel, always ensuring we had more than enough. Remember how she truly knew how to make a dollar out of fifteen cents. Remember, too, that she was one of the most active seniors we've ever known. We seldom saw her sitting still. She biked, hiked, swam, danced, and embraced new learning opportunities, especially in technology. As the matriarch of our family and as an example of strength, beauty and brilliance, Maude encouraged us to strive for excellence and live wisely.

We are grateful for the support of family, friends, and loved ones. We truly appreciate every act of love and kindness you have extended to us during this time. We know Maude loved you all dearly, and we look forward to uplifting and honoring her legacy with you.
