Though we lived 800 miles apart Mathew and I stayed in contact with each other.  A lasting memory was when Mathew had dinner with my fiancé and I two years ago. We came to Texas to see the eclipse and Introduced my fiancé to my family. As we ate Mathew highly suggested for me to go see my father. That is not what I had planned on doing. Mathew took the time to follow me to my dad’s house and went in with me for support. I am so glad that his wisdom and strength were there for me that day. That day was the last day I saw my father and Mathew alive. Life is precious, and we do not know the days we have to live. You and your caring heart are gone way too soon. I will miss you cousin. My prayers are with your family. Love, Debra Ward
