It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Matthew "Sunshine boy" Walsh I, fondly known as Sunshine boy, but preferring Matthew. Matthew was born on the 22nd of May, 1989, and tragically left this world on the 18th of July, 2024.

Matthew exuded love in all his interactions, with an infectious warmth that earned him his nickname of Sunshine boy. His mantra in life was to always be real and not fake, a lesson he consistently shared with everyone he met. Matthew navigated life's highs and lows with an admirable resilience, displaying unequivocal strength in the face of adversity. He was never a coward, standing his ground and confronting life challenges head-on.

Among Matthew's great accomplishments was the attainment of his GED. He was always eager to lend a helping hand to friends in need, embodying the true spirit of friendship. However, he considered his greatest achievement to be his beautiful daughter, Kira Walsh, who he cherished wholeheartedly.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Marylou Barry, his beloved daughter, Kira Walsh, and his exwife, Courtney Walsh. His sister, Krystle Walsh, brother, Christopher Barry, and girlfriend, Shelly, also mourn his loss. His ex-wife, Courtney Walsh, as well as countless friends and family members, are left to cherish the beautiful memories they shared with Matthew.

Matthew's legacy will live on through his loved ones and all those who were fortunate to have known him. He was a ray of sunshine in the lives of many, and his loss reverberates through everyone he touched. While he will be dearly missed, his spirit will continue to shine in our hearts forever.
