Matthew Tyler Behrens, 25, of Mandeville, Louisiana, passed away on July 1, 2024. Born on August 17, 1998, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Matthew attended Slidell High School and was a beloved cook at Time Saver.

Known for his dark sense of humor, Matthew found joy in riding his motorcycle, gaming, watching anime, and reading. Throughout his childhood he shared a bond with family pets. His vibrant personality and unique interests brought laughter and light to all who knew him.

Matthew is survived by his loving parents, Rebecca and Michael Behrens; grandmother Barbara Robert; siblings Christopher Behrens, Michelle Ramey, David and Amanda Behrens; brother-in-law Joseph Ramey; aunts Kathy Austin and Kellie Stevens; uncle D. Bruce Stevens; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Christain and Breonne Caillouet, and Alaina and Isabelle Ramey, along with numerous extended family members and friends.

A private service to celebrate Matthew's life will be held in Slidell, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency or the National Alliance on Mental Illness, honoring his compassionate spirit.
