It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matthew Stemen on June 12, 2023.  Born on December 29, 1983, Matthew was a cherished son, brother, and friend to many. He was a kind-hearted and compassionate individual with a love for all forms of life.

Matthew was a brilliantly artistic man and a wonderful, supportive brother.  He enjoyed spending time with his Keeshond "Autumn", building incredible home entertainment systems, and creating art in many different forms - both by hand and using technology.  He was known for his unwavering kindness and generosity towards others.  A "gentle giant", his warm presence and good nature will be greatly missed by all who had the fortune of knowing him.

Matthew is survived by his mother Sharon, his father Mark, his brother Chris, his sister-in-law Amie, his two nieces Everly and Maisie, and his extended family, who find strength in the many cherished memories they shared.  We will continue to celebrate Matthew's life and remember him fondly for the remarkable person he was. May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
