On Thursday, April 23, 2020, Matthew Anthony Orsi, age 74, of Yonkers, New York, peacefully passed away in the comfort of his home.
Matthew was born on June 3, 1945 in the Bronx, NY to the late Rose Marie Parrillo-Orsi and Umberto Orsi. As one of eight brothers and sisters, Matthew didn’t have the opportunity for much formal education. At the age of 9 years old, he became a baker, where he developed an admirable …

Due to the current Pandemic, Private Visitation and Burial will be held for immediate family. However, the family welcomes anyone who wishes to view the Honor Guard Ceremony and departure of the Funeral Procession with NYPD Escort to gather across from Flower Funeral Home at 714 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704 on Monday, April 27, 2020 at approximately 11:15am.
*They only ask that you be considerate to the residential neighborhood by not blocking driveways, parking lots, or the flow of traffic.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
