Matthew Ryan O’Donnell-Wittenberg, 32 years old, of Nashville, TN passed away on November 7th, 2021. His loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.
Matt was born on January 4th, 1989 to Kathleen O’Donnell and David Wittenberg in Baltimore, MD.
Matt worked at several event production companies as a CNC machinist, towing companies, and was an ASE certified mechanic.
He referred to himself as a “fixer” and “jack of all trades”. He loved to tinker, take things apart to rebuild them, and loved building complex models. He was passionate about being outdoors - walking his dog Goose, hiking, kayaking, camping, fishing, and hunting. When he was at home, he loved cuddling and taking naps with his cats Winston and Doz. He was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens. Anyone who knew Matt, knew that he was kind, brilliant, and charming. He also had a witty, sarcastic sense of humor.
Matt’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say. He was and will always be deeply loved, and never forgotten. Matt is survived by his fiancé Alicia, mother Kathleen, sisters Kelsey and Lindsey, brothers Danny and Patrick Jr., grandmother Claire, and grandfather Julius.
