Matty brought such light and goodness to everyone around him.  I am so grateful for the years we dated and were close to each other. I am also thankful for the years I was able to share a lot of time with  the Myles clan.  What a gift it was to stay in your home and be a part of your family.  Sending hugs to you Mark and Jess.

Matty was a gentle person who always made time for a thoughtful chat when I saw him around the neighborhood. His sense of adventure and creativity made life around him more interesting and rich. He will be missed by myself and many others 💜

Matty was very focused on getting a cool reflection in his sunglasses in this photo. It was the start to our 5 day backpacking trip in Utah.

Please do let us know if there will be a service in MA. I've been in contact with our classmates who grew up with Matt and a number of us still live in the area and would like to attend.

What a heartbreak to have lost Matt. We have wonderful memories of Matt and his family together with our family during the summers in Temagami. He’ll be greatly missed and always remembered. Our thoughts and love are with you and all who loved him. Sheila and Danny

I waltz into Matty's office in 2013 when I first started doing advocacy for OCD. We became instant friends. He helped introduce me to people in the community and suggested I go to the IOCDF conference that summer. I went and it completely set the stage for the life I have today in my work and advocacy. If it weren't for Matty, I wouldn't be living the life I have now. He was a very special man.

A special friend to many…in Concord MA

to Denver CO

Matt was my first friend when I moved  to Concord. He welcomed me and was so friendly. My mom had just died and I really needed support - and there he was! He really lifted me up and I’m forever in his debt. I still remember the white water trip on the Penobscot River in Maine  I went on with he and his dad at age 13  (I think they’ve now moved the age to 16 given how intense it was ) - it was an unforgettable adventure. Matt loved music and was funny and passionate (he loved a heated debate, was never shy in sharing his voice - I loved that). He gave me my first set of drums (well, two sets really) to start a musical journey, one I’m still on.  I’m not sure he ever knew what an important role he played in my life. He was a very special person and I’m grateful to have known him.  This is an immense loss. My prayers go out to his beautiful family, who always welcomed me into their world when I came over to their home.
