Matthew “Matt” Michael Meehan, age 40, passed away on October 20, 2021. Matt was born on March 17, 1981 in Boston, MA.

Matt was charismatic, humorous and often the life of the party. He was a giving person, often putting others’ needs above his own. The only thing second to Matt’s love for his family and friends was Boston sports.

For many years Matt worked as a bartender at the Flamingo (Las Vegas). Entertaining and serving people was a perfect fit for his personality.

Matt is survived by 6 siblings: Brian Collins, Richard Collins (Limor), Pamela Garza, Timothy Halpin (Denis), Staci Meehan and Adam Vanasse (Gina); and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind friends on both the east and west coasts.
