This is heartbreaking. Matt was such a generous kind soul, who I always loved working with and hoped I was working with. We used to bond over the fact that our dogs looked so much alike and we would always talk about how awesome they were. He will forever live on in the memories of those who knew him. He had such a large impact on so many lives and he will be forever loved & missed. Rest in peace Matt, for only the good leave this world too soon :(.

Oh I’m so sorry to hear this. Matt always lifted my spirits at Newark Beth Israel ER. I always looked for him, especially on tough days.  Sending my love to his family and remembering him as someone so bright, so loving, and so genuine. Rest well my brother. I know you are with the angels.
