Matthew Mateo Heneralau, 78, of Kealakekua, died April 9 at Kona Community Hospital. Born August 6, 1940 in Holualoa.
He was a retired Staff Sargent and Unit Administrator with the Hawaii National Guard in Kealakekua. He was also a retired non-commissioned officer with 42 years of service; a Vietnam Veteran; a Member of the Vietnam Combat Veterans Association; Veteran of Foreign War’s; Big Island National Guard Retirees and a Life Time member of the Enlisted …
