It's been one year since you meet our loving Lord.  How we miss you and that smile

I was absolutely in shock and devastated when I heard the news of Matthew's passing. As a young man, didn't he have so much more life to live?!? I did not want my sweet friend Susan and her kids to go through this. 

My small family of 3 has been blessed to know and be considered family by the Flanagan clan and love them as such! Thankful for all the sweet memories in our homeschool years and beyond!!

Matthew, an eclectic & loving soul with a huge smile and big authentic laugh, was a joy to be around and work with. His curiosity and passion was inspiring (and yes those traits can be challenging at times) and I appreciate his give it all attitude! The picture below is of one of our trips to an amusement park from awhile ago (the kids are so young!) and one of my favorite memories is the way Matthew would take on a roller coaster...fearless abandon into the joy of the moment....great job Matthew....
