Our son Matthew J Donnelly died on May 14, 2022 in Port St Lucie Florida. He leaves behind a loving Mother and Father, James and Patrica Donnelly, two siblings Lauren and Patrick Donnelly, his daughter Lily Donnelly and ex wife Stacy Stern, along with several Aunts, Uncles and cousins who are missing him very much. Matt was an excellent athlete in his day with several trophies for a variety of sports. He was a very good golfer, and loved fishing, handball, kayaking, motorcycles, music, birds, animals and the Cincinnati Bengals. He was a history buff and a reader of spiritual and motivational books. His smile and ability to connect with all types of people was incredible and his poetry reflected that. Matt leaves behind so many friends from all walks of life. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd, Port St Lucie Fl, on June 25, 2022 at 10AM. Below is a livestream link to the ceremony. The family requests bright colored clothing be worn especially blue which was Matt’s favorite color. A celebration of life for close family and friends will be at his parents home following the service.
