You will be missed by the Bravos.  Your sense of humor, corny Florida jokes, and funny sarcasm always made me laugh.   It has been wonderful to share so many years of friendship with you and your beautiful  family.  May you rest in peace.

My most sincere condolences on your loss.  I hope you take some comfort in knowing the lasting impact Matt had on his students (myself included)- even from his earliest years in teaching.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss of Matt. I first new him as a student. He encouraged me to question,  introduced me to Laura Nyro, and made me believe I was good enough. Later we became colleages at Comsewogue and also friends. He will be missed.

Beautifully said, he loved nothing more than his wife, his children and grandchildren and taught us a 1000 things before we were 18. We love you all so much, rest in peace, Matt. 💙
