Thank you to everyone for your support throughout Matt's cancer fight and during this difficult time.

After being diagnosed with cancer in June of 2020, Matt fought with all of his strength. Together with his wife, Pam, they pursued many aggressive treatment options, including CAR T, a revolutionary treatment that uses the body's own cells to combat cancer. Even now, Matt is continuing to fight cancer by donating his body to Science Care, a program dedicated to advancing scientific research to beat cancer.

Pam and the kids are hosting a celebration of Matt's life at their home on Saturday, April 2nd. Details about the event and how to further support his family can be found on this memorial website. Matthew Lyle Williamson (Matt), 53, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on March 21st after a two-year battle with cancer.

Matt was born on July 21st, 1968 in Morrison, Illinois to John Lyle and Sue Williamson, the fifth of seven children.
