It is with sorrow and tenderness that I announce the passing of my father, Matt Blake. He crossed over peacefully on July 27th.

He was a world traveler with an adventurous spirit, an avid reader, a story teller and a huge Bob Dylan fan. He loved British cars, Italian clothes, and Australian wine. He was quick to make friends and slow to regret.

He was a fierce tennis player, a dedicated marathon runner, and loved being outdoors.

He was in hospice for 13 months, fighting like a wild beast, and creating joyful moments right up until the end.

I’m enjoying an extraordinary life because of him. Please keep his beloved wife Bonnie Blake (my mom) in your thoughts. Will we be hosting a Celebration of Life for him Thursday 9/25th. Details can be found on this site, or reach out to me via DM.

RIP Daddy. Don’t think twice, it’s alright.
