MaryLee Kennedy, age 80, of San Lorenzo, CA, passed away on September 10, 2023. She was born on April 4, 1943, in Walsenburg, CO, to Mary and Frank Esparza.
MaryLee was a devoted wife, a beloved sister, and a cherished member of her community. She found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, and her warm presence brought comfort to all who knew her.
A woman of many talents, MaryLee had a deep love for the arts. She possessed a remarkable gift for drawing, painting, crocheting, and embroidering. Her creations were a reflection of her inner spirit - delicate, intricate, and filled with beauty. Through her art, MaryLee expressed her unique perspective on the world and left behind a legacy of creativity.
MaryLee graduated from Castlemont High School and later embarked on a fulfilling career. She dedicated many years of service as an employee of Mervyns, where her dedication and hard work made a lasting impact.
MaryLee's family was at the center of her world. She held a special bond with her husband Richard Kennedy and shared a lifetime of love and companionship with him. MaryLee was also a loving sister to Barbara Pettigrove, JeanMarie Anson, Kathy Green, and Lorraine Ramsden. Her brothers, Frank Esparza, George Esparza, Michael Esparza, and Chris Esparza, were pillars of support and strength in her life. MaryLee leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories for her many nieces and nephews.
MaryLee is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Frank Esparza, and her brother David Esparza. Although she is no longer with us, her memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
