Mary and I met 39 years ago at the bus stop when our boys started school. We hit it off right away, maybe because we were both Italian. She was from the city and I was from upstate New York. We had a good bond. We did a lot together. When our kids got married and were able to do more, we'd go for lunch, and then go back to her house and play cards. She won most of the time, but that was okay. Every once in awhile she'd come for for a "mini vacation," and have dinner with us and spend the night. I really enjoyed that. I'm going to miss her something terrible. I know she's in the arms of our Lord and she's with Celar. Cheryl and Chris are like our own kids. We love them dearly. Love and Prayers to the family. Maryann was such a special lady! She was one of the strongest women I have ever met. She did an amazing job of raising her two children Chris and Cheryl. She was also an extraordinary cook.

I will miss her cooking but even more so her company. She had such a strong faith that allowed her to face every challenge with grace and strength. I will miss her positive and kind spirit the most.

I am so very sorry for this loss.

With love and prayers,
Teresa Decio
