On September 17,1936 Mary Angelle Wheeler was born to the late Virginia Carter and Eugene Angelle in Cankton,LA. Mrs Wheeler was a long life resident of Church Point,LA. Mrs Mary was a loving and caring individual.She loved spending time with family and friends. Cherishing her memories are one brother Richard Angelle of Lafayette,LA. Four daughters Norma J Wheeler, Virginia W. Cormier(Donald),Leola W.Lewis, Bolita W. Citizen (Felton). Seven sons Samuel Wheeler Jr (Lorena), Ricky Wheeler (Lakayshia), Raymond Wheeler (Linda), Ronald Angelle, Donald Angelle, Mark Angelle, all of Church Point,LA. Charles Wheeler(Melinda) of Lafayette,LA.Thirty-eight grandchildren, seventy great grandchildren, and twenty-five great great grandchildren. Four in laws Mary Angelle of Lafayette,LA, Tatty Guillory, and Mary B Angelle, all of Church Point,LA. Lloyd Landry of Cankton,LA. A host of nieces m, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Wheeler Sr, her parents Virginia Carter, Eugene Angelle, two kids Clifton Angelle, and Carrie Richard. Eight siblings Delores Angelle, Violia Angelle, Evelyn Williams, Curtis Angelle, Charles Angelle, Laurent Angelle, Margie Landry, and Joann Angelle. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 2,2021 from 8:00am-11:00am at Sunrise Baptist Church Bristol, LA. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Dr Micheal Felton & Staff, Hospice of Acadiana, Ochsner Lafayette, General Medical Center, Ford & Joseph Funeral Home, family, and friends who donated. Whether it was time, food, or etc, we appreciate you.
