Obituary
Mary Tornese, a beautiful, strong and talented woman, devoted to her family, has left us with so many fond memories. Graduating from Fashion Institute of New York in the late 40’s, her goal was to become a fashion illustrator for New York publications. Given Mary’s inherent need for perfection, she wasn’t able to draw quickly enough to make this goal work. She turned her talent to dress designing. Mary moved from Brooklyn, NY, to River …
