Peggy's obituary

In loving memory of our mother, Mary "Peggy" Thibdeau, who passed away on February 24, 2023 after a short but devastating battle with a very aggressive brain cancer, Glioblastoma.

Mary was born October 23, 1943 to Arthur and Margaret Kreydt of Wellsville, NY. Married in February of 1965 to John Thibdeau.

Our Mother was predeceased by her husband, our father, who regrettably passed in 2012 from cancer, and her daughter, our sister, Suzanne Thibdeau sadly passed soon after in 2018. Peggy is survived by her older brother, James Kreydt (88), her 2 children, Lauren (39) and Christopher (38), and 6 grandchildren, Ivy (22), Ziah (18), Tristan (14), Taryn (14), Liam (7), and Albert Rocco (18mo.)

Our mother was a the kind of person who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own without hesitation or expectation. She was one of the strongest, bravest, most courageous women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family. She was a woman with a great sense of humor and she instilled in us the importance of family, respect and doing what is right.

The memorial service will be held at Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Rose of Lima church in Sandy Hook

Mom, dearest Nonny, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you to the moon and back! Rest in peace.
