Mary Ellen Streeter, beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and pillar of her community, passed away peacefully on September 17th, 2025, at the age of 80.

Born on June 4th, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, Mary Ellen was a loving and devoted mother to her three children: Stephanie, Michelle, and Clinton, and a cherished grandmother to Riley, Karen, and Elise.

Mary Ellen's life was one of service, love, and care for those around her. She was a faithful member of her church and found great joy in her spiritual community. Her deep connection to her faith was only rivaled by her love for her family and her passion for baking, which brought comfort and sweetness to the lives of everyone she touched.

She was known not only for her warmth and generosity, but also for the daycare she ran, where she cared for countless children over the years. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, and she embraced the role of caring for the children in her community as if they were her own.

IMary Ellen and her family later settled in Moyock, North Carolina, where she became a beloved figure, known for her unwavering kindness and dedication to her loved ones. She touched the lives of many with her big heart, her smile, and her boundless generosity.

Mary Ellen’s legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren, and she will forever be remembered for the love she shared, the joy she spread, and the countless lives she impacted.
