Dave Wise

Mary and Craig Skidmore and the kids were the best neighbors we ever had here on Brook Hollow, over 30 years watching them raise their family. Our kids played together and Mary, being the excellent cook she was, always rewarded me with kitchen treats if I helped out with anything. Like when I was painting my mailbox and she asked if I could paint hers...Jan and I enjoyed her homemade bean soup for days after that. She was Jan's best friend and she loved her like a sister. They'd sometimes enjoy a glass of wine sitting on the brick wall in front of our house, sharing events of the week. Mary would always greet us with her smile, she and Craig were just like our family. We sure missed them when they moved to beautiful Colorado but were also excited about their new life adventure, staying close to their growing family. Mary's still with us and waiting to greet us with her love and happiness when we see her in Heaven. But we sure miss you, Mary.
