Sue's obituary

It is with great sadness we announce that on November 5, 2023, Mary "Sue" Schratz Benson passed away. Born on September 19, 1945, Sue lived a vibrant and full life, touching many with her wit, kindness, and intelligence. Sue will be dearly missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Cara Benson, and her sons, Michael Jr. Benson and Patrick Benson. Her memory will continue to live on in their hearts. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Goedeke, who shared many precious and unforgettable moments with Sue throughout their lives.

Sue is predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Sr. Benson. His absence was deeply felt by Sue, and they are now reunited, much to everyone's solace.

A Celebration of Life for Sue will be held on November 26, 2023, at 12:00 PM. The gathering will take place at 10079 Sakura Dr., where mourners can pay their respects, share fond memories, and celebrate the extraordinary life Sue led. Sue's witty, kindhearted, and intelligent nature will be the focus of the celebration, reflecting the incredible woman she was.

Sue's passing leaves a void that will never be filled. However, her spirit, her teachings, and the love she fiercely showed to her loved ones will forever be etched in our hearts, serving as a beacon of strength and inspiration. We extend our deepest condolences to the Benson family during this difficult time.
