Mary Susan Rudman, loving mother to Drew & Josh and doting “Ahma” to Kyle & Blake, passed away in her sleep on Friday, June 24th, 2022 at the age of 80 after a lengthy illness.

Sue, as she was always known to her family and friends, was born on Christmas Day, 1941 in Hartford, Connecticut to William Lewis Pierson and Cecilia Gross. She spent most of her early life on the east coast until she met and married the love of her life, George Michael Rudman of Newark, New Jersey, relocating to southern California shortly after the birth of their first son, Andrew William. A second son, Joshua James, soon followed and they would raise their sons together until George’s untimely passing in 1976. It’s a testament to Sue’s strength of character that she was able to raise two successful men as a widowed single mother for much of their childhood. She spent several years working in real estate marketing in the Los Angeles area, first for Gold Crest Ltd and then as a founding partner of Fine Incentives. She retired to Prescott, Arizona in 2006, but always considered being a mother and homemaker as her first calling.

Sue was an avid reader, loved movies and television and really enjoyed traveling with her sister-in-laws Ro and Lorraine. She is survived by her sons, Drew & Josh, daughter-in-law Deanne, grandsons Kyle & Blake, sister-in-law Rosalie Pierson, niece Dominique Cohen and nephew Clay Pierson. She is predeceased by her brother, Stephen Pierson, husband George Rudman and sister-in-law Lorraine Armstrong.
