Mary's obituary
Mary Grace (Stewart) Rosynek, 95, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Dolton, IL, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2022 after a brief stay at a nursing home in Florida . She suffered from age related illnesses.
A Memorial service was held in Florida early August with her immediate family and a few friends of the family attending.
Mary was born in Chicago, IL, to her Mother Lilian Stewart and her Father Bernard Stewart.
She is preceded in death by her Mother Lilian Stewart, Father Bernard Stewart, her ex husband John Rosynek, and “Angel baby” Burnson.
She is survived by her 4 children, daughter, Gail DeYoung (late husband Ray), Son, Terry Rosynek, Son, Dave(Demetria) Rosynek, and daughter, Dawn (late husband James)Burnson and her 7 grandchildren, Adam DeYoung, Kari (David)Lamb, Lindsay (Brett)Blake, Daniel Rosynek, Michael (Kayla) Rosynek, Lauren Burnson, Ben Burnson and 6 great grandchildren.
She worked as a secretary at Raffin Construction Company in Chicago, IL until she retired at the age of 70.
She enjoyed listening to music of the 50’s, planting flowers, gardening, cooking, baking and caring for her favorite dog “Sunny” and her two cats, “Tinkerbell” and “Musette.”
“May the roads rise up to meet you and the winds be always at your back and may the Lord hold you in the hallow of his hands until we meet again.”
She will be forever missed and loved by all. May she Rest In Peace and may God’s perpetual light shine upon upon her.
Cremation was conducted upon her request.
