Marguerite passed away on February 12, 2023 surrounded by all those that loved her. Born on July 6, 1938 in Hungerford, Texas, Marguerite spent 85 wonderful years spreading joy to any and all around her. A comfort to many and a joy to all, most of her time was spent taking care of her family, and going fishing and relaxing at a beach house in Matagorda, Texas. 

When she was just 60 years old, Marguerite met Jose -- the love of her life, in Hungerford, Texas. Spending nearly 30 years together in Hungerford they raised 5 beautiful children: Sandra, Wanda, Mary, Authur, and Quincey. Which then expanded to 11 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren. Later in life, Marguerite enjoyed nothing more than , sewing, cooking and spent much of her time gathered around her big kitchen table with family. A loving and wonderful woman until the very end, she will be greatly missed.
