I met Mary Jane after she moved to Oklahoma City. We spent time at museums, movies, going out to eat and just visiting. I remember her great attitude and beautiful smile. She loved her little Charlotte so much. I have two plants she left in my care before her last big adventure. I’ve named one Mary and one Jane.

I knew Mary Jane in Fort Walton Beach, Florida where she was a member of the adult singles group at first Baptist. She always had the most infectious smile and made new people feel welcome and happy to be there and happy about themselves. She lit up the room up in everything she did. Since those early years I've only known her through Facebook where she imparted wisdom, funny stories and that joyous smile jumped out of the screen every time.
