Born in Tulsa, OK to Ray Bloss Vandeventer and Wilma Vandeventer, Mary died unexpectedly from intestinal ischemia on the morning of December 6, 2023 in Dallas, TX. She spent her early years in Tulsa before moving south to Corpus Christi, where she attended Cullen Junior High and Carroll High School, subsequently becoming part of the first graduating class of King High School.
