Mary Ruth McGowan, 82, of Gretna, LA, passed away on March 25, 2023. She was born on December 16, 1940, in Utica, MS to the late Phillip Green, Sr., and Lula Mae Crawford Green.
Mary was a loving mother and a wonderful friend. She was always willing to help anyone in need and had a contagious spirit that could make a rainy day shine. Although she wasn't formally working, many knew her as the "CandyLady," …
