Aunt Pat always made special time to bake the yummiest cookies before we arrived for a visit to her home. In fact, as we walked through the door, those cookies were being just baked and out of the oven. When I look at the cookies in the best home bakeries if Williamsburg, Aunt Pat's cookies were ahead of her time. They are the best and quite pricey!!! Delicious to celebrate with her chosen recipes. My favorite was a sugar cookie with just a few M&M's. Unreal when you're 7 years old!!!

Mary ,
What a touching photo of your parents and all their children and a few young grandchildren . It was so moving to see  your young face , looking like one of your daughters , and to see Pat as she looked when I met first met her , alongside your father . At the time Pat was a beloved chemistry teacher at Albany High School , where Tom had first met Pat, ( I think before Tom  had met you ). Pat was an amazing phenomenon of energy and  buoyant spirit . I was always so caught up in her high wattage smile , always sending out joyful vibes. And throughout the years  we saw and heard about  Pat , along with your father, having  such fun with the grandchildren . And then , after Albert Sr. passed, how Pat ventured out , trying Florida briefly , then returning to be near her family . We heard so much about all her adventures. We were lucky to have visited with Pat at your home , and at her various residents throughout the past 20 years. 
All these photos in this memorial really capture so much of Pat’s life . And of course in every photo Pat radiates joy and grace. She’s left quite a legacy . And I see her face in Brigid’s spectacular smile and in fleeting glances in the faces of your brothers and sisters , and some of Kevin’s children too . So moving to recognize this in Pat’s children and grandchildren . 
Also touching to see young  Anne and very young Barbara . 
Beautiful tribute to your mother .
We remember Pat very fondly , as she touched our lives with her grace .
