With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mary Odessa Johnson (neé McCully) of Parkville,  Missouri on Friday, June 17, 2022. Mary passed away peacefully under the care of Northcare Hospice House.

Mary was born on December 9, 1950, to Columbus Earl & Mary Maxine McCully in Granby, MO. She had seven brothers and sisters.

Mary met and married Harold Johnson and together they went on to raise three children. Mary was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Mary loved the Lord and her church, volunteering in many roles throughout her life. At the time of her death, she was a member of the Victory Free Will Baptist Church of Kansas City.

During her life, Mary enjoyed gardening, playing piano and singing at church, finding collectibles and antiques, and spending time with family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Maxine McCully, her husband Harold Johnson, her daughter Kimberly Coyner, and four of her brothers. She is survived by her daughter Sheila Williford and husband Kevin, her son Harold James Johnson, her brothers Bill and Vernon McCully, and her sister Donna Melton, her seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
